SSL Certificate Renewal Error

We had downtime on all services due to a SSL certificate renewal error. Downtime affected client sites that use the CMS.

Domain Registrar Change

We transferred our main domain dangoweb.com to a different registrar. During this time, all services were down. Users using our nameservers may have seen some downtime after maintenance ended.

Subscription Renewal Enforcement

We have begun enforcing payments for subscription orders paid with Dangos. When your subscription comes up for renewal, your account will either be debited its due balance or an invoice will be created to continue the subscription. Accounts such as Web Hosting, Mail Hosting, Bot Hosting, VPS Hosting and more linked to the order will be suspended until the invoice is paid in full and approved by staff. Subscription cycle details can be found on the Portal.

Free Plan Enforcement

Our free plan is aimed toward students, educators, non-profits, small businesses, and other entities that cannot afford to pay for larger hosting plans. To ensure that our free plan is being used for the correct target uses, we have begun prompting new users to explain what they will use the free hosting for, and how they fit into our free plan target uses. They will be asked to include any information that would help us verify your student, educator, non-profit, or small business status so that our hosting is not being used by false entities.

Free Plan Downgrade

As we look at our user base and the free plan usage, we have noticed that almost all users do not use over half of their limits. Because of this, we have downgraded our free plan limits so that our current users can enjoy free hosting, while freeing up server resources.
