CMS Price Increase
We have increased the pricing of the CMS for one-time payments. The price increased from $10/once to $15/once, with setup prices also increasing by the same amount. Through this change, we hope to reach our funding goals quicker as well as compensate developers for their time better, as setup time is not included in hourly rates.
Documentation Manager Staff Position
A new volunteer staff position has been opened for a documentation manager. We are in need of documentation articles to be written, especially in our new Help Center. Additionally, many users are in need of tutorials on how to set up and use our various services and features of our host. You may write guides, tutorials, blog posts, and articles in Markdown, and may edit and develop existing articles in our extensive documentation. The position requires general experience of all products.
Domain Policy
A new Domain Policy has been added and will take effect immediately for all users, including currently registered users. The policy clearly outlines domain usage on our systems as well as free domain and free subdomain provisioning and usage terms. All hosting users have been notified of this change. The Domain Policy is available online at https://dangoweb.com/legal#domain-policy.
SSL Certificate Renewal Error
We had downtime on all services due to a SSL certificate renewal error. The downtime affected core infrastructure such as our homepage, Portal, APIs, CDNs, and CMS. During this time, our web hosting control panel could not be reached. Client sites using the CMS were affected.
